How to Become a Urban Business Journal Leadership Council™ Member
To join the Urban Business Journal Leadership Council™, you must:
- Log into your existing UBJ account, or create a UBJ account, on the Urban Business Journal website at https://www.urbanbusinessjournal.com/login.
- Complete and submit the Urban Business Journal Leadership Council™ application ("Membership Application") located at https://www.urbanbusinessjournal.com/leadership-council.
- The editorial team at UBJ will evaluate your Membership Application based on:
- The nature and extent of your current business activities as revealed by your company website.
- Your business background, experience, accomplishments, education, and expertise related to the field of business.
- Links to any articles or posts written by you and previously published.
Your reason(s) for wanting to contribute content as an Urban Business Journal Leadership Council™ Member.
If accepted, you will receive an acceptance notice via email, including instructions on how to pay your Annual Subscription Fee (see Section 5 below). Upon payment, you will be enrolled as a member and entitled to all membership benefits outlined in Section 2. If your application is not accepted, you may reapply after three months.

Content Submission: Submit up to four (4) articles per calendar month for possible publication and distribution on the UBJ website and other UBJ platforms. Articles must comply with the Contributor Guidelines found at https://www.urbanbusinessjournal.com/contributor-guidelines.
Editorial Review: Articles will be reviewed by UBJ’s editorial team, which retains full discretion over acceptance and publication.
